In the period from June 27 to 29, 2023, an international conference dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Lithuanian Maritime Academy (LAJM), with which our university has been cooperating for many years, was held in the city of Klaipėda.
The community of the Lithuanian Maritime Academy was welcomed by a large group of partners, colleagues, guests who cooperate, support and go hand in hand with LAJM.
Among them were representatives of the State University of Infrastructure and Technologies: First vice-rector Anatoliy Gorban and Rector’s aide Oleksandr Sobovyi. On behalf of the staff of SUIT, they congratulated the staff of the Lithuanian Maritime Academy on the anniversary date. The meeting was rich and high-quality, in particular, they discussed new opportunities for cooperation in project activities and a new version of the partnership agreement between the University and the Lithuanian Higher Maritime School. Issues of possible cooperation were also discussed with representatives of educational institutions in Latvia, Romania, Montenegro, the Netherlands, France and Sakartvela.
At the end of the conference, the management of LAJM expressed its sincere gratitude to all those who nurture maritime traditions and in cooperation create a modern, open, innovation-based LITHUANIAN MARITIME ACADEMY!
